AkH&LA is creating a partnership with Alaska CHARR for alcohol and food service training. Through our relationship with Alaska CHARR, AkH&LA members have access to discounted ServSafe Food Handler Certification courses which meet the state's certification requirements.   

According to Alaska law: Each full food service establishment must employ at least one certified food protection manager for each location who is an active on-site person responsible for the day-to-day operation of the establishment. Each food establishment other than full service must employ at least one certified limited food protection manager for each location who is an active on-site person responsible for the day-to-day operation of the establishment.
